Why should I get my ski/board waxed?

Waxing your equipment will help you get through that flat groomer run with less effort, help you go a little faster, and make every turn a little smoother. Keeping your equipment regularly waxed will also help extend its life

How often should I get my ski/board waxed?

Waxing your board at least every 3-6 days out on the mountain is a good general guideline. I like to have a fresh wax every time I go out, but you may choose to apply yours on a less frequent basis. Waxing your ski/snowboard will help it glide faster and smoother, but it will also extend the life of the equipment. Keeping your base waxed will prevent it from becoming dry. If the base of your ski/snowboard looks white and ashy, then it is in need of a good wax. Don’t let your equipment stay dry and rough, schedule a hot wax today!

Why should I get my Edges Sharpened?

One of the best ways to keep your equipment performing its best, especially on those hard-packed icy days, is by sharpening your edges. By sharpening your ski/snowboard edges, your equipment will be able to bite into the ski slope better which will give you a much better edge hold in and out of turns. Through the course of a season, your edges may get dings, nicks, burrs, and they will dull. Having your edges sharpened will return them to top condition. Giving you more control and improved performance out of every turn.

How often should I get my edges sharpened?

You should start the season off with freshly sharpened edges at the very least. The more days you get out on the hill and the tougher the conditions are, the more often you may need to have your edges sharpened. You will get the most out of your equipment if you keep your edges sharp and base smooth.
